As an ABS-approved service provider, we conduct In-Water Surveys (IWS) to assess vessel integrity without drydocking, ensuring compliance with ABS Classification Rules. Using ROVs, we inspect hulls, thrusters, and appendages, providing detailed reports for ABS review. Our services help clients maintain certification, reduce downtime, and ensure operational safety efficiently.
As an ABS-approved service provider, we offer Remote Inspection Techniques (RIT) as an alternative to traditional close-up surveys for ships and offshore units. Using drones and ROVs, we conduct detailed inspections of critical structures, reducing the need for scaffolding or rope access. Our high-resolution imaging and data reporting ensure compliance with ABS Classification Rules, enhancing safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for our clients.
Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore has approved Skadi Offshore as a service supplier for in-water surveys by ROV, carried out in the presence of BV surveyors. The approval covers in-water surveys in lieu of periodical docking surveys on non-propelled units and offshore units, and internal hull surveys of water-filled compartments on ships and mobile offshore units.
Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore has approved Skadi Offshore as a service supplier for surveys using Remote Inspection Techniques (RIT) as an alternative to close-up surveys of the structure of ships and mobile offshore units classed with BV. Using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ROVs, we carry out and report these surveys to BV requirements, reducing the need for scaffolding or rope access.
